Monday Monday Monday...

“I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.

Some come from ahead and some come from behind.

But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see.

Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!”

- Dr. Suess

Man! talk about a day full of "troubles"!! It all started this morning when the ENTIRE shelf in the laundry room broke while I was underneath it. I feel like it is an important fact to tell you that there was at least 30lbs. of detergent and random laundry room type things on this shelf. Luckily, I came through unharmed! haha.

I found the quote in one of the children's books that I was reading for one of my classes and just thought that it was great. Everyday comes with its own troubles, but you can fire back and be strong and ready to face them.

Anyway, today was another pretty slow day...I work up kinda late and had the usual breakfast then I went and ran some errands. when I got home I fixed up a typical lunch...turkey sandwich with hummus, spinach, tomato, and onion...of course toasted up on the ol' grrrrilll. With a granny smith apple on the side!

Trouble Number Two: I picked up my camera to take a photo shot of my lunch and it told me to change the battery!!!! But, I had my "bat" ready to hit my problem out of the park and just settled on my camera phone. Not top notch pictures, but hey, it does the job.

After lunch I hung around the house a bit and then headed over to the parentels to hang out. I love just sitting and talking to my mom about everything that has been going on. She really is my best friend and I can talk to her about anything! Im so lucky to have such a get support system from my family.

My mom was making dinner for my dad while I was over there and she made him some peas. For some reason after seeing those it made me CRAVE peas! haha. How crazy is that?! peas?! But I knew that I would not except anything less for dinner, so on my way home I ran by the grocery store and picked up a nice big bag of peas!! haha. For dinner I made some fettuccini noodles with about 1 part noodles to 5 parts peas! But it hit the spot!

Now im off to watch BROMANCE and THE CITY. I just love Whitney, she was my favorite character from the hills so you better believe I was PUMPED when I heard she was getting her own show.

Hope everyone had a great Monday and remember girlies, face those problems that pop up head on and let them know that they are gonna have some trouble with YOU!!

Goodnight dears! :)

AH yes Dr. Seuss is just fabulous isn't he?! he sure packs a lot of wisdom in to those little rhymes! That's so empowering to envision walking through life with a bat in hand.. ready to beat the pulp out of anything that stands in our way! Haha a little violent maybe - but I like it :)!!

Ah I love the city- Whitney is such a sweetheart.. ENJOY <3!!
