oh yes, there WAS a random picture of me that I found on the internet from a party that my EX was DJing for that I went to when I was in Nashville last weekend. Isnt it funny when you find yourself in the background of pictures?! Its like Where's Waldo. I though I remembered this random guy taking pictures and I was turning my head the other way as to avoid an awkward picture moment. haha. Anyways, just thought I would share this rather amusing discovery.
My breakfast this morning was a big ol' bowl of some yummy, fruity oats. I really need to find some more variety for my mix-ins, this mix is starting to get old.
- 1/2 Cup of Oats
- Handful of Blueberries
- Cinnamon (OVERLOAD!)
- Maple Syrup
- I Think Thats It?!
After breakfast I lounged around and read some of my book that I have been in the process of reading for a few months now. Its HUGE and its just taking me FOREVER to get though it. Im about half-way done with it now. It is really good though. Have you ever been reading a book and there is a passage in it that just gets you?! Every now and then I will come across a quote in a book that I just LOVE and I usually mark it or right it down. Anyway, when I was reading today such a passage popped up and I just had to write it down.
"Words were useless. At times they might sound wonderful, but thy let you down the moment you really needed them. You could never find the right words, never, and where would you look for them? The heart is as silent as a fish, however much the tongue tries to give it a voice."
I just thought that this was so true. Its always so hard to find words to describe feelings. And this little paragraph describes that perfectly.
After I read a little more in my book I headed over to the gym. I couldnt really get in that good of a workout because for some reason I kept getting bored and distracted, so I kept changing machines. I ended up getting a good hour in though. Just little bits here and there. My workout included:
- 25 minutes on the eliptical
- 15 minutes on the bike
- 15 minutes on...umm...that thing...what did we decide to call it? well, you know what I mean.
- Series of Leg presses
I got home from my workout and was STARVING. I was super excited to try out Jaime's wrapping technique, so of course I fixed up a wrap.
This one included:
- Flat Out Wrap
- Red Pepper Hummus
- Deli Turkey
- Spicy Mustard
- Sliced Up Pear on the side:
Nowwww....what shall I have for dinner?! Any ideas?!...
