Oh my goodness...just look at this deliciousness in the form of a pb & j!
Honey Wheat Bread with Chocolate chip cookie dough peanut butter, strawberry preserves, and half a banana. grilled and warm and gooey! :) can you handle another shot?!
BAM!
Time for a close-up
And all together with some cherry yogurt and blueberries on the side. On my wonderful monster plate that I got from my secret cupid! :)
Okay backtracking to breakfast, I had my usual two pieces of whole wheat bread with blackberry and apricot preserves, and 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese with cinnamon.
After breakfast I also had a quick gym sess' that included:
- 35 minutes on the eliptical
- 1 mile run (for a cooldown)
- leg weights
Oh yeah and KATIE, you were right. That thing is an arc trainer and looks a little like this:
Has anyone ever used this?! According to the stats on the machine (which seem to be accurate because you have to enter in your weight, age, and sex, and it also has a HRM) I burn WAY more calories on this than I do on the elipitcal, but I am baffled as to why, it doesnt really feel like that much more of a workout. Does anyone know anything about this?!
Ok dears, Im going to hop in the shower and prepare to go to work for the night.
Hope everyone is having a great tuesday! <3 Ems

No way, great timing because this weekend I JUST used an arc trainer and wondered what it was called because I loved it!!
We worked out on Sunday morning in the gym by our hotel and those intriguiged me so I decided to try it and, yeah, I want one! I felt like it did a whole lot more for me than an eliptical (and elipticals are my favorite!)
Either way, I'm glad to know what it's called, lol, if it's the same thing ... it looks the same though.
We don't have arc trainers at my gym! I have heard about them but was not quite sure about them.
I LOVE that sandwich combo. I have gotta try that!!
Have a good night at work :)
I do not know anything about the Arc trainer. But if you feel like it was harder, than you probably burned more calories.
That sandwich looks wonderful! Great idea.

I dont like the arc trainer, hurts my hips!
YUMMY sammy!!!!

I just wanted to thank you SO MUCH for your email babe.. it really helped me out - and i will definitely be emailing you back soon once i get all this silly homework out of the way!
love you so much, Em!! <3 xo
Yea, I definitely like working out on those. It feels like I'm working out my butt!! Try to put it on a high incline and up the resistance, that usually helps.
Woo hoo!! You are using the plate and PB I got you!! Glad that you like them! BTW-Sandwich looks D-lish!

That *is* a delicious-looking pb&j.
I've never used the arc trainer because I think it looks too complicated. I'm always afraid that I'll fall off.
oh we do not have an arc trainer at my school gym - i wish we did it looks intensely fun and challenging!
your pictures look awesome today :)
Oh my SWEET LORDY that sammie looks like pure heaven. I need to find that chocolate chip cookie dough PB! I love that you mixed it with strawberry preserves... three things (cookies, chocolate, and strawbs) that SHOULD always be together.
I'm proud of you for getting up on that thing... it looks like something from a sci-fi movie!
ok that sandwich is just TO DIE FOR!! i'm not a fan of the arc trainer at all-- i don't feel like i'm doing anything, but i whip my own ass on the elliptical these days-- i'm usually a runner but i've had to take it easy since i'm dealing with a hip injury! i think you should just do whatever activity makes you feel the best when you work out :) personally i like to get nice n sweaty! :)
I NEED to have that SAMMY!!!!
yummm.
that arc trainer looks intense.
